The Building Department’s role is to provide service with regard to statutory building matters.

Building application fees: Increased from 1^st July 2009

Please be advised that the Builders Registration Board (BRB) have announced the following increase to fees and levies as from 1^st July 2009.

• BRB Levy $39 to $40 – paid with every building application licence approval.

• Owner Builders Fee from $119 to $124 – Paid direct to the Builders Registration Board.

• Shire minimum building licence fee                          $ 85.00

    plus (BRB) levy collected                                        $ 40.00

    for a total minimum fee of                                       $125.00
